Russian Google Going Public on NASDAQ - for $2B

First it was India's Rediff.com (REDF), then China's Bidu.com (BIDU) and now Russia's Yandex is going public with a valuation of approximately $2B.  The stock will trade on NASDAQ.  Will there be a search engine from Brazil next?

India Ranked Above China in Social Protection

China may be ahead in economy but business week has reported that India ranked above China in social protection. The Asian Development Bank ranks India 10th among 31 Asia-Pacific countries in providing social security like health care and education.  On a scale between zero and 1, India has scored 0.46 points, with Japan topping the chart with 0.96 points.  You can read teh full article by going to Business Week
